I can tell that you weren’t paying attention in English, because when you said:

Yeah, that doesn’t actually mean what you think it means.
Also, despite what everyone and their mother thinks, Romeo isn’t all that romantic. First he’s in love with Rosaline. Then, all of a sudden, he’s madly in love with Juliet. He’s known her for maybe an hour. Then he’s a hot-headed idiot who kills his new wife’s cousin, and then he overreacts and kills himself.
Great love story, that.
